The Chief Minister’s Urban Leaders Fellowship is a unique opportunity for young leaders across India to work with the Delhi Government to address some of the most pressing urban challenges, and experience what ‘making change’ looks like. The highly-competitive Fellowship aims to recruit outstanding young professionals from across the country under the age of 35 who are passionate about public service and are willing to commit to working with the Delhi government for a period of two years.
Features-
1. Unique Fellowship program where the Fellows will work directly under the supervision of their respective Ministers across various departments
2. Fellows will support the formulation of policies and implementation of various government projects and initiatives
Eligibility Criteria
1. Postgraduate with a minimum of 60% of marks (or equivalent CGPA). Professionals such as MBBS, LLB, etc. with a minimum 5-year course of study after the 12th class will be considered as “Post Graduate”.
2. Professionals like Chartered Accountants, Architects, Company Secretaries, etc. who are registered with their respective professional bodies shall be eligible to apply for Associate Fellows if they have a minimum of one year of post-registration work experience.
Award Amount
Remuneration of 75,000 per month will be provided to Associate Fellows.

Selection Process
There will be a two-stage selection process to comprehensively assess the qualities of incoming candidates:
1. Online Application: The first round of shortlisting will be done based on the academic and professional qualifications of the applicants, and their responses to personal statement questions in the online application. Candidates will be evaluated on criteria such as educational achievement, total years and relevance of work experience, and motivation for the Fellowship program. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for the interview round.
2. Interview: The final round will consist of a face-to-face interview with a panel comprising officials from the Government of NCT of Delhi, and experts from academia and civil society. Candidates will be interviewed either in person in Delhi (preferred) or through video conferencing.
