The preliminary Examination for UIIC is held as a Computer Based test comprising 100 questions of 100 Marks. The total time available for candidates is 60 minutes (80 minutes for scribe).

Candidates willing to apply for UIIC Assistant 2022 Examination are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities.
The criteria for eligibility UIIC Assistant 2022 are decided by the conduction body itself.
The candidate’s eligibility for UIIC Assistant 2022 Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions :-

UIIC ASSISTANT 2022 : NATIONALITY
A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either: -
1. A citizen of India, or
2. A subject of Nepal, or
3. A subject of Bhutan, or
4. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4) and (5) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India

The candidate should possess the following educational qualification in order to be eligible :-
1. Candidates should have a Graduation degree from a university that is recognized by the Government.
2. Knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of Regional language of the State of Recruitment is essential.
