DESCRIPTIVE TEST (common for both Generalists and Specialists)
A candidate shall be required to qualify in Descriptive Paper. The marks in Descriptive Paper shall not be counted for final selection.

A candidate shall be required to qualify in the descriptive test, but the marks in the descriptive test will not be counted towards short listing for interview or final selection.
Mode of Examination
The Test for Generalist & Specialist shall be conducted as on Online computer Based Test. The test will contain Objective type questions. The Descriptive type Test shall also be conducted online. Questions will be displayed on the screen of the computer. Answers are to be typed using the keyboard.
Medium of Examination
1. The objective tests except test on “English Language” will be bilingual (in English and Hindi).
2. The Descriptive Test shall be held in English Only.
Marking Scheme Highlights
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked by the candidates
1. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer
2. For each wrong answer marked, one fourth of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted from those obtained.
3. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions
4. There will be no negative marking in Descriptive Type Test.
Interview
1. A candidate shall be required to qualify in descriptive test, but the marks in descriptive paper shall not count for final selection.
2. The finally qualified candidates will be called for interview upto three times the vacancies of the respective categories/discipline and final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the online objective test and interview.
3. Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro second class rail fare/bus fare by the shortest route from the station of residence to the place of interview on production of evidence of having undertaken journey for interview purpose.
Important Fact
1. Those candidates who use a scribe shall be eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes or otherwise advised for every hour of the examination.
2. The scribe may be from any academic stream. However, for Specialist Officers’ posts the scribe should be from an academic stream different from that prescribed for the post.
3. One fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned will be deducted as penalty for each wrong answer.
4. The Descriptive Test marks shall not be taken into account for calculation of merit and shortlisting.
5. The number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the Corrected Score after applying penalty for wrong answers.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates willing to apply for UIIC AO Examination are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities.
The criteria for eligibility UIIC AO are decided by the conduction body itself
The candidate’s eligibility for UIIC AO Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:

(i) a Citizen of India or

Where CGPA / OGPA are awarded, the candidate will have to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority inter alia stating the norms of the University regarding conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of norms.
(ii) The candidates should have completed the qualification mentioned above on or before 30.09.2024. Those who have written the final examination for the minimum education qualification as on 30.09.2024 and whose results are declared after 30.09.2024 are not eligible to apply.
(iii) Working knowledge of Computer is a must.

DESCRIPTIVE TEST (common for both Generalists and Specialists)
A candidate shall be required to qualify in Descriptive Paper. The marks in Descriptive Paper shall not be counted for final selection.

SELECTION PROCESS
The UIIC AO Selection Process consists of 2 stages:
Stage I: Online Exam (Objective and Descriptive)
Stage II: Interview
I. The candidates qualified in the Competitive Online Written Examination will be called for interview up to three times the vacancies of the respective categories/discipline and final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the online objective test and interview. Interview will be conducted at select centres. The weightage (ratio) of online Examination and Interview will be 75:25 respectively.
II. Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro sleeper class rail fare/bus fare by the shortest route from the station of residence to the place of interview on production of evidence of having undertaken journey for interview purpose. In case a candidate is called for interview and is found not satisfying the eligibility criteria (Age, Educational Qualification etc.) he/ she will neither be allowed to appear for the interview nor be entitled for reimbursement of any travelling expenses.
III. The candidates called for interview would be required to submit the attested copies of certificates in proof of their age/date of birth, educational qualifications, community to which they claim to belong etc., at the time of interview.

JOB PROFILE
1. The work of a UIIC AO is not limited to just the administrative work but comprises the following work as well:
2. Interacting with the existing and prospective clients
3. Working on the new policies as per the requirements of the customer
4. Inspecting and analyzing the existing policies
5. Managing and assisting in filing claims
6. Communicating with different departments regarding the existing and new policies
7. Performing the other tasks assigned by the manager
SALARY STRUCTURE
Basic pay in the scale of Rs. 50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765 and other admissible allowances as applicable. Besides emoluments, other benefits like Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) and National Pension System (NPS), leased accommodation would be extended as per rules of the Company. Gross pay will be Rs.88,000/- p.m. (approx.) at Metropolitan centers.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates willing to apply for UIIC AO Examination are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities.
The criteria for eligibility UIIC AO are decided by the conduction body itself
The candidate’s eligibility for UIIC AO Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:
1. Nationality
2. UIIC AO : Age Limit & Relaxations
3. UIIC AO : Educational Qualifications
Nationality
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit:
A candidate must be of the Minimum Age of 21 years and the Maximum Age of 30 years as on 30.09.2024. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 01.10.1994 and not later than 30.09.2003 (both days inclusive).
Relaxation in upper age limit shall be as follows:

Notes:
(i) In case of a candidate who is eligible for relaxation under more than one of the above categories, the age relaxation will be available on a cumulative basis subject to the maximum age not exceeding 45 years.
(ii) Candidates seeking age relaxation will be required to submit copies of necessary certificate(s) for verification at the time of Interview and/or any subsequent stage of recruitment process.
(iii) The age relaxation for Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) shall be as applicable to Ex-Servicemen.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on 30.09.2024. The minimum Educational Qualification required for various disciplines are:

Notes:
(i) Qualifications mentioned above should be obtained from any recognized University / Institute in India duly approved by UGC / AICTE as the case may be with appropriate pattern like 10+2+3 or its equivalent. Where CGPA / OGPA are awarded, the candidate will have to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority inter alia stating the norms of the University regarding conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of norms.
(ii) The candidates should have completed the qualification mentioned above on or before 30.09.2024. Those who have written the final examination for the minimum education qualification as on 30.09.2024 and whose results are declared after 30.09.2024 are not eligible to apply.
(iii) Working knowledge of Computer is a must.
SELECTION PROCESS
The UIIC AO Selection Process consists of 2 stages:
Stage I: Online Exam (Objective and Descriptive)
Stage II: Interview
I. The candidates qualified in the Competitive Online Written Examination will be called for interview up to three times the vacancies of the respective categories/discipline and final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the online objective test and interview. Interview will be conducted at select centres. The weightage (ratio) of online Examination and Interview will be 75:25 respectively.
II. Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro sleeper class rail fare/bus fare by the shortest route from the station of residence to the place of interview on production of evidence of having undertaken journey for interview purpose. In case a candidate is called for interview and is found not satisfying the eligibility criteria (Age, Educational Qualification etc.) he/ she will neither be allowed to appear for the interview nor be entitled for reimbursement of any travelling expenses.
III. The candidates called for interview would be required to submit the attested copies of certificates in proof of their age/date of birth, educational qualifications, community to which they claim to belong etc., at the time of interview.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO BE NOTED BEFORE REGISTRATION Before applying online, candidates should-
(i) scan their:
photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm) - signature (with black ink) - left thumb impression (on white paper with black or blue ink) (If a candidate is not having left thumb, he/she may use his/ her right thumb. If both thumbs are missing, the impression of one of the fingers of the left hand starting from the forefinger should be taken. If there are no fingers on the left hand, the impression of one of the fingers of the right hand starting from the forefinger should be taken. If no fingers are available, the impression of left toe may be taken. In all such cases where left thumb impression is not uploaded, the candidate should specify in the uploaded document the name of finger and the specification of left/right hand or toe).
- a hand written declaration (on a white paper with black ink) (text given below) (The hand written declaration has to be in the candidate’s hand writing and in English only. If it is written by anybody else and uploaded or in any other language, the application will be considered as invalid. (In the case of candidates who cannot write, may get the text of declaration typed and put their left hand thumb impression (if not able to sign also) below the typed declaration and upload the document as per specifications.) ensuring that the all these scanned documents adhere to the required specifications as given ahead in the section.
(ii) Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
(iii) The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not smudged.
(iv) The text for the hand written declaration is as follows – “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
(v) The above mentioned hand written declaration has to be in the candidate’s hand writing and in English only and should not be in Capital Letters. If it is written and uploaded by anybody else or in any other language, the application will be considered as invalid.
(vi) Keep the necessary details/documents ready to make Online Payment of the requisite application fee/ intimation charges
(vii) Have a valid personal email ID and mobile no., which should be kept active till the completion of this Recruitment Process. All official communication will be sent to the registered e-mail id of the candidate. Under no circumstances, a candidate should share with/mention e-mail ID to / of any other person. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID and mobile no. before applying on-line and must maintain that email account and mobile number.
APPLICATION REGISTRATION
1. Candidates to go to the Recruitment Section of Company’s and click on the option "APPLY ONLINE" which will open a new screen.
2. To register application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
3. In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing "SAVE AND NEXT" tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the "SAVE AND NEXT" facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and verify/ get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.
4. Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the COMPLETE REGISTRATION BUTTON.
5. The Name of the candidate or his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets/Identity proof. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
6. Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the 'Validate your details' and 'Save & Next' button.
7. Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature detailed under point "C".
8. Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.
9. Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before Final Submit.
10. Modify details, if required, and click on 'COMPLETE REGISTRATION' ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
11. Click on 'Payment' Tab and proceed for payment.
12. Click on 'Submit' button.
PAYMENT OF FEES ONLINE MODE
1. The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
2. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
3. After submitting your payment information in the online application form, PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INTIMATION FROM THE SERVER. DO NOT PRESS BACK OR REFRESH BUTTON IN ORDER TO AVOID DOUBLE CHARGE
4. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated.
5. Non-generation of 'E-Receipt' indicates PAYMENT FAILURE. On failure of payment, Candidates are advised to login again using their Provisional Registration Number and Password and repeat the process of payment.
6. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form containing fee details. Please note that if the same cannot be generated, online transaction may not have been successful.
7. For Credit Card users: All charges are listed in Indian Rupee. If you use a non-Indian credit card, your bank will convert to your local currency based on prevailing exchange rates.
8. To ensure the security of your data, please close the browser window once your transaction is completed.
9. There is facility to print application form containing fee details after payment of fees.

DESCRIPTIVE TEST (common for both Generalists and Specialists)
A candidate shall be required to qualify in Descriptive Paper. The marks in Descriptive Paper shall not be counted for final selection.

Candidates need to follow the steps to download admit card of the UIIC Administrative officer exam:

Step 2. Input your credentials to login to your UIIC website profile.
Step 3. Locate and Click on the ‘Download UIIC Administrative Admit Card’ option.
Step 4. Login with your registration ID and password.
Step 5. Download the admit card.
Step 6. Take a print out of the admit card for future reference.
EXAM RESULT
Candidates need to follow the steps below to check the result of the UIIC Administrative Officer exam:
