The Reserve Bank of India was established on April 1, 1935, in accordance with the provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. Its headquarter is situated in Mumbai. It is the central bank of India and is a regulatory body under the Ministry of Finance. Its primary function is to issue, manage and control the supply of Indian currency and to manage the payment system of the Indian banking system.
Reserve Bank of India conducts RBI Grade B Examination every year for recruitment of candidates for its sub-offices and branches in the country.
RBI GRADE B: EXAM PATTERN
RBI Grade B Mains Examination is a Computer Based Test which comprises three papers of a total of 71 Questions and 300 marks.

The RBI Grade B Mains Examination is a Computer Based Test. Questions shall be based on Both Multiple Choice objective Type and Descriptive Type.

Candidates willing to apply for RBI GRADE B Examination are required to fulfill certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification, etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities.
The candidates who qualify for the RBI Grade B Preliminary Examination with the required cut-off as decided by the RBI authority are eligible for RBI Grade B Mains Examination.
The candidate’s eligibility for RBI GRADE B Examination is based on the fulfillment of the following conditions :-
1. Nationality
2. Age Limit & Relaxations
3. Educational Qualifications
RBI GRADE B EXAMINATION: NATIONALITY
A candidate must be either -
1. A Citizen of India or
2. A subject of Nepal or

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years
Note :- For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualification, upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years respectively.

RBI Grade B 2023: Who Can Apply
Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate applying for the RBI Grade B exam must be either –
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit:
Candidates appearing for the RBI Grade B 2023 examination should be at least 21 years of age, whereas the maximum age limit for the RBI Grade B exam is 30 years. For the candidates, who are possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualifications, the upper age limit for them will be 32 and 34 years respectively.

RBI Grade B 2023: Scheme of Exam
1. The Phase II exam is an objective and descriptive type of online exam.
2. All the questions of Phase II (except for the English) will be set for both Hindi and English.
3. The Phase II online Examination will be conducted only for the candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of results of Phase I and based on the cut-off decided by the Board.
4. For general posts, the Phase II exam consists of 300 marks, and for DSIM and DEPR posts Phase II exam consists 200 marks.
5. The final RBI Grade B Cutoff will be prepared based on Phase II and the interview score.

RBI Grade B 2023: Admission to Examination Centres
1. Candidates must not forget to take their admit card with ID proof and 2 recent colored photographs.
2. No use of electronic items, books, or watches allowed inside the examination hall.
3. Candidates should reach the examination center 1 hour prior to the commencement of the exam.
4. A rough sheet will be provided at the examination hall.
5. Candidates cannot leave the examination center without the conclusion of the RBI Grade B exam.
6. Candidates need to follow all the instructions given by the invigilator.
7. Candidates found with debarred items will be disqualified from the exam.

Step 1: Visit the official website of RBI
Step 2: Click on “Opportunities@RBI” option given at the bottom of the RBI homepage
Step 3: Then click on the “current vacancies option. A list of notifications come up in the screen. Click on the RBI Grade B Admit card link
Step 4: Enter your registration number/roll number and date of birth/password
Step 5: You are redirected to the RBI Grade B admit card
Step 6: Download the admit card and get a printout of the same and carry it along at the exam centre.

The steps to check the result of RBI Grade B exam are as mentioned below:
Step 1: Firstly, visit the official website of RBI.
Step 2: You will be able to see an option called “current vacancies”.
Step 3: In that particular section, you’ll get an option called “results”.
Step 4: When you click on the results option, you’ll be redirected to the page where you have to fill in the RBI Grade B application number and password.
Step 5: After entering the appropriate application number and password, your results will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: You can download the results in pdf format.
Step 7: Save the downloaded results in your system and take a printout.
