The NIACL Assistant Online Application has been started on 17 December 2024 and the last date to submit the NIACL Assistant Online Form is 01 January 2025. The NIACL Assistant prelims exam is going to be conduct on 27 January 2025 (Monday) whereas, the mains exam is going to be held on 02 March 2025 (Sanday).

NIACL Assistant exam is conducted by New India Assurance Company Ltd. for the recruitment of assistants of Class III cadre from the open market. New India Assurance Company Ltd. is a leading Public Sector General Insurance Company with branches in every part of India. The exam of NIACL Assistant will be conducted in three phases – prelims, mains, and regional language test. Candidates who qualify the prelims phase will have to appear for the mains exam. Further, the mains qualified candidates will have to take a regional language test. 2- There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Online Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at the corrected score.
3- No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
4- The Company reserves the right to modify the structure of the examination which will be intimated through its Website.
Resolution of Ties
In case of equal marks scored by the last two or more candidates in the merit list, the candidate senior most in age will be shortlisted for further process of recruitment.
REGIONAL LANGUAGE TEST
1- Candidates qualifying in the Online Main Examination will be shortlisted and called for a Regional Language Test, before final selection.
2- No separate marks will be awarded for Regional Language Test.
3- This test will be only qualifying in nature.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates willing to apply for NIACL Assistant Examination are required to fulfill certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities. The criteria for eligibility for NIACL Assistant are decided by the conduction body itself. NATIONALITY
A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either: -
1- A citizen of India, or
2- A subject of Nepal, or
3- A subject of Bhutan, or
4- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

Educational Qualifications
1. A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC / HSC / Intermediate / Graduation level. Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on 01/01/2024.
2. Knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of Regional Language of the State / UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply, is essential. To ascertain the candidate ‘s familiarity with the Regional Language of the State / UT, a language test will be conducted before final selection. Candidates not found to be proficient in the Regional Language Test would be disqualified.
Note: Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before they apply that they fulfill the requirements as to Age, Educational Qualifications and other eligibility criteria and if found ineligible their candidature will be cancelled at any stage of recruitment.

Step 3: A provisional registration number and password will be given to the registered email address after registration.

Step 5: Verify your information and click on the 'Validate your details' and 'Save and next' buttons, you can save your application.
Step 6: Fill in the remaining details on the Application Form. Before clicking "FINAL SUBMIT," candidates must review all of the information they've entered.
Step 7: After final submission, click on the 'Payment' Tab and proceed with payment. After making a successful payment, click on the 'Submit' button.
Step 8: Only online payments are accepted for application costs. Debit cards (Rupay/ Visa/ Master/ Maestro), credit cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, and mobile wallet can all be used to make a payment.
Step 9: Candidates must not use the redirect or refresh buttons until the server gives them permission. Following successful payment, candidates will receive an e-receipt.
Step 10: In the last stage of the online application. Candidates need to scan their photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten documents to upload.

MOD OF SELECTION
The selection process of NICAL AO consists of three stages.
1. Prelims
2. Mains
3. Interview
Candidates have to appear for the prelims exam first. Candidates who score more than the cut-off marks will be shortlisted for the main examination and then Only those candidates will be eligible for interview.
Final Selection
The final selection would be based on consolidated marks of main examination (objective test) & Interview. The final merit list shall be prepared in descending order of the consolidated marks secured by the candidates. Candidates who fall within the number of vacancies in the merit list shall be considered for appointment. The selected candidates may be appointed in more than one batch as per the discretion of the Management. The seniority of the selected candidates will be as per the merit / select list. A Waiting List of candidates not exceeding 50% of the number of vacancies may also be prepared and may be utilized in the event of non acceptance of employment offer by the candidates selected in the final merit list.
Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their being found medically fit as per the requirements of the Company. Such appointment will also be subject to the service and conduct rules of the Company.

The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC / HSC / Intermediate / Graduation level. Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on 01/01/2024.
2. Knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of Regional Language of the State / UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply, is essential. To ascertain the candidate ‘s familiarity with the Regional Language of the State / UT, a language test will be conducted before final selection. Candidates not found to be proficient in the Regional Language Test would be disqualified.
Note: Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before they apply that they fulfill the requirements as to Age, Educational Qualifications and other eligibility criteria and if found ineligible their candidature will be cancelled at any stage of recruitment.
EXAM PATTERN
The Main examination is a computer-based test that comprises a total of 200 questions and 250 marks. The total time allotted is 120 minutes.

HOW CAN APPLY
For NIACL Assistant online application registration, follow the processes outlined below:
Step 1: Go to the official website, scroll down to the recruitment section, and select the 'apply online' option.
Step 2: To register, go to "Click here for new registration" and fill out the form. You must submit your name, contact information, email address, and phone number, among other things.
Step 3: A provisional registration number and password will be given to the registered email address after registration.
Step 4: If a candidate is unable to finish the application form in one sitting, they can save their inputs by selecting "Save and next" and re-login to complete the application.
Step 5: Verify your information and click on the 'Validate your details' and 'Save and next' buttons, you can save your application.
Step 6: Fill in the remaining details on the Application Form. Before clicking "FINAL SUBMIT," candidates must review all of the information they've entered.
Step 7: After final submission, click on the 'Payment' Tab and proceed with payment. After making a successful payment, click on the 'Submit' button.
Step 8: Only online payments are accepted for application costs. Debit cards (Rupay/ Visa/ Master/ Maestro), credit cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, and mobile wallet can all be used to make a payment.
Step 9: Candidates must not use the redirect or refresh buttons until the server gives them permission. Following successful payment, candidates will receive an e-receipt.
Step 10: In the last stage of the online application. Candidates need to scan their photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten documents to upload.
Step 11: On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt is generated. Candidates can take a printout of the e-receipt of online NIACL Assistant application form.

ADMINATION TO EXAMINATION CENTERS
1. Candidates must not forget to take their admit card with ID proof and 2 recent colored photographs.
2. No use of electronic items, books, or watches allowed inside the examination hall.
3. Candidates should reach the examination center 1 hour prior to the commencement of the exam.
4. Candidates cannot leave the examination center without the conclusion of the NIACL Assistant exam.
5. Candidates need to follow all the instructions given by the invigilator.
6. Candidates found with debarred items will be disqualified from the exam.
ADMIT CARD
Step 1: Go to the NIACL official website.
Step 2: On the homepage, click the NIACL Assistant admit card link.
Step 3: You will be taken to the registration page.
Step 4: Fill up the required information, such as your date of birth, password, registration number/roll number, etc.
Step 5: Select "Login" from the drop-down menu.
Step 6: On the screen, your NIACL Assistant admit card will appear.
Step 7: Save the hall ticket on your computer.
Step 8: Print a copy of the hall ticket for your records and future references.
RESULT
Step 1: Go to the NIACL official website.
Step 2: Click on the link for NIACL Assistant Result.
Step 3: Enter the necessary details, like Roll Number, Date of Birth, etc.
Step 4: Click on “Submit”.
Step 5: Your NIACL Assistant result will be displayed on the screen.
