Marking Scheme:
Sections of the test:
1. Reasoning.
2. English Language.
3. Quantitative Aptitude.
4. General Awareness (with special reference to Financial Sector).
5. Professional Knowledge (Only for Specialist).
Questions from above - mentioned sections are asked in NIACL AO Examination, where each question comprises 1 mark, thus summing up to 200 marks.
Marking Scheme Highlights:
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked by the candidates:
1. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer
2. For each wrong answer marked, one fourth of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted from those obtained..
3. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
4. There will be no negative marking in Descriptive Type Test.
Interview:
1. Candidates who have been shortlisted at the end of Phase- II will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Company. Interview will be conducted at select centres.
2. The weightage (ratio) of online Examination and Interview will be 75:25 respectively. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from the company’s website.
However, the company reserves the right to change the date / venue / time / centre etc. of interview or hold supplementary process for particular date / session / venue / centre / set of candidates at its discretion, under unforeseen circumstances.
Final Selection:
Final selection would be based on consolidated marks of main examination (objective test) & Interview. The final merit list shall be prepared in descending order of the consolidated marks secured by the candidates. Candidates who fall within the number of vacancies in the merit list shall be considered for appointment. The selected candidates may be appointed in more than one batch as per the discretion of the Management. The seniority of the selected candidates will be as per the merit / select list. A Waiting List of candidates not exceeding 50% of the number of vacancies may also be prepared and may be utilized in the event of non acceptance of employment offer by the candidates selected in the final merit list.
Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their being found medically fit as per the requirements of the Company. Such appointment will also be subject to the service and conduct rules of the Company.
IMPORTANT FACTS:
1. Those candidates who use a scribe shall be eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes or otherwise advised for every hour of the examination.
2. The scribe may be from any academic stream. However, for Specialist Officers’ posts the scribe should be from an academic stream different from that prescribed for the post.
3. One fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned will be deducted as penalty for each wrong answer.
4. The Descriptive Test marks shall not be taken into account for calculation of merit and shortlisting.
5. The number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the Corrected Score after applying penalty for wrong answers.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidates willing to apply for NIACL AO 2024 Examination are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc, their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities. The criteria for eligibility NIACL AO 2024 are decided by the conduction body itself.
The candidate’s eligibility for NIACL AO 2024 Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:
1. Nationality.
2. Age Limit & Relaxations.
3. Educational Qualifications.
NATIONALITY:
A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either:
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4) and (5) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India

The candidate should be of the minimum age 21 years and Maximum 30 years.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidates willing to apply for NIACL AO 2024 Examination are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc, their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities. The criteria for eligibility NIACL AO 2024 are decided by the conduction body itself.
The candidate’s eligibility for NIACL AO 2024 Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:
1. Nationality.
2. Age Limit & Relaxations.
3. Educational Qualifications.
NATIONALITY:
A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either:
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4) and (5) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India
Age Limit:
The candidate should be of the minimum age 21 years and Maximum 30 years.
The maximum age limit specified above is applicable to General Category candidates and EWS category candidates only.

Educational Qualifications:
For Generalist:
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of a graduate / post graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination for General candidates and at least 55% marks for SC / ST / PwBD candidates
For Specialist:
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification as follows. Qualification should be from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government.

4. The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester(s) / year(s) by aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of honours / optional / additional optional subject, if any. This will be applicable for those Universities also where Class / Grade is decided on basis of Honours marks only. The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored 59.99% will be treated as less than 60%.
5. Where CGPA / OGPA are awarded, the candidate will have to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority inter alia stating the norms of the University regarding conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of norms

JOB PROFILE:
NIACL Administrative Officers are provided with steady career growth and promotion based on their job performance and internal exams.The NIACL AO will be eligible for the promotion after three years of service through the internal exam. If the candidates perform well in the internal exam then they will be promoted to the Scale- II Officer post. Apart from the internal exams, the NIACL AO will be eligible for promotions after 5 years of service based on their seniority.

HOW CAN APPLY:

DESCRIPTIVE TEST:
The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes’ duration with 30 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing -10marks & Essay - 20 marks). The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted through on - line mode:

Note:
1. Qualifying marks in the descriptive test shall be as follows: 15/30 (13.5/30 for SC, ST and PwBD).
2. Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum total score (to be decided by the Company according to number of vacancies) in the objective test (main examination) and qualify in the descriptive test for shortlisting for the Interview.
3. A candidate shall be required to qualify in the descriptive test, but the marks in the descriptive test will not be counted towards shortlisting for interview or final selection.
Mode of Examination:
The Test for Generalist & Specialist shall be conducted as on Online computer Based Test. The test will contain Objective type questions. The Descriptive type Test shall also be conducted online. Questions will be displayed on the screen of the computer. Answers are to be typed using the keyboard.
Medium of Examination:
1. The objective tests except test on “English Language” will be bilingual (in English and Hindi Languages).
2. The Descriptive Test shall be held in English Only.
Marking Scheme:
Sections of the test:
1. Reasoning.
2. English Language.
3. Quantitative Aptitude.
4. General Awareness (with special reference to Financial Sector).
5. Professional Knowledge (Only for Specialist).
Questions from above - mentioned sections are asked in NIACL AO Examination, where each question comprises 1 mark, thus summing up to 200 marks.
Marking Scheme Highlights:
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked by the candidates:
1. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer
2. For each wrong answer marked, one fourth of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted from those obtained..
3. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
4. There will be no negative marking in Descriptive Type Test.
INTERVIEW:
1. Candidates who have been shortlisted at the end of Phase- II will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Company. Interview will be conducted at select centres.
2. The weightage (ratio) of online Examination and Interview will be 75:25 respectively. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from the company’s website.
However, the company reserves the right to change the date / venue / time / centre etc. of interview or hold supplementary process for particular date / session / venue / centre / set of candidates at its discretion, under unforeseen circumstances.
FINAL SELECTION:
Final selection would be based on consolidated marks of main examination (objective test) & Interview. The final merit list shall be prepared in descending order of the consolidated marks secured by the candidates. Candidates who fall within the number of vacancies in the merit list shall be considered for appointment. The selected candidates may be appointed in more than one batch as per the discretion of the Management. The seniority of the selected candidates will be as per the merit / select list. A Waiting List of candidates not exceeding 50% of the number of vacancies may also be prepared and may be utilized in the event of non acceptance of employment offer by the candidates selected in the final merit list.
Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their being found medically fit as per the requirements of the Company. Such appointment will also be subject to the service and conduct rules of the Company.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidates willing to apply for NIACL AO 2024 Examination are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc, their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities. NATIONALITY:
A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either:
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
