LATEST UPDATE

IBPS CRP RRBs XIV recruitment for Officers (Scale-I, II, III) and Office Assistants in Regional Rural Banks is ongoing. Online registration and fee payment are open from September 1, 2025, to September 21, 2025. Pre-Exam Training (PET) is scheduled for November 2025. Preliminary Online Exams for Officers Scale-I and Office Assistants will be in November/December 2025, with results in December 2025/January 2026. Main/Single Exams follow in December 2025/February 2026, interviews in January/February 2026, and provisional allotment in February/March 2026.

EXAM SYLLABUS

IBPS RRB Clerk covers Reasoning, Quant, General Awareness, English/Hindi, and Computer basics. PO syllabus is similar but tougher, with added focus on data interpretation, banking awareness, and followed by an interview. Officer Scale-II (GBO) adds Financial Awareness to the PO syllabus, while Specialist Officers also need Professional Knowledge in their field (IT, Law, CA, Agriculture, Marketing, Treasury). Scale-III syllabus is same as Scale-II GBO but with a deeper focus on advanced banking, economy, and risk management.

1. Office Assistant (Clerk)

Prelims

Reasoning: Puzzles, Seating arrangement, Coding-decoding, Syllogism, Inequalities, Blood relations, Directions, Alphabet/Number series.

Numerical Ability: Simplification, Approximation, Number series, Data interpretation (tables/graphs), Arithmetic (age, ratio, percentage, profit-loss, time-work, time-distance, SI/CI).

Officer Scale-II (GBO & Specialist) and Scale-III have a Single Exam (Reasoning, Quant/DI, Financial Awareness, English/Hindi, Computer; plus Professional Knowledge for Specialists; 200 marks, 2 hrs) followed by Interview. All papers are objective, bilingual (except English section), with 0.25 negative marking.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

For IBPS RRB, candidates must be graduates. Age limits are: Clerk 18–28 yrs, PO 18–30 yrs, Scale-II 21–32 yrs, and Scale-III 21–40 yrs (with relaxations for reserved categories). Local language proficiency and basic computer knowledge are required; Scale-II and III need relevant experience, and Specialists must have subject-specific degrees.
