The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Regional Rural Bank, popularly known as IBPS RRB is a national-level exam conducted by IBPS to recruit the candidates who are willing to fill vacancies for various posts in RRBs across India. IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Prelims exam was conducted on September 12 and 13, 2020 in five shifts.
Note: A supplementary re-exam was conducted for the post of Officer Scale I for the preliminary phase of the examination on December 31, 2020.

The reasoning ability section is one of the most scoring sections in the Regional Rural bank exam is no exception.

Computer Knowledge
This section had most of the questions from MS Office that included Excel, PowerPoint and Word. The level of questions was very easy. Near about 9 questions alone were related to MS Excel and 3 to 4 from other software of the MS Office. There were 4 to 5 questions from networking and 3 to 4 questions from general topics like ROM, RAM etc.
Reasoning Ability
The questions asked in the reasoning section were also easy. There were a total of 10 questions from seating arrangement that included a circular seating arrangement and a linear seating arrangement. There were 5 questions from machine input output and the rest of the questions were from other miscellaneous topics of reasoning ability.
Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation
The questions asked in this section were also easy. There were 3 sets of Data Interpretation i.e. 15 questions and the rest of the questions were from the miscellaneous arithmetic portion, which included partnership, compound interest, time and work, pipes and cistern, probability.
English Language
The students who chose to attempt the English Language section informed that the level of questions in this section was also easy. There were near about 15 questions from Reading Comprehension, 5 questions of Idioms and Phrases, 5 questions of sentence rearrangement and the rest miscellaneous topics were there.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Regional Rural Bank, popularly known as IBPS RRB is a national-level exam conducted by IBPS to recruit the candidates who are willing to fill vacancies for various posts in RRBs across India. IBPS RRB occurs at two levels of officers in Group A: Level I (Assistant Manager), Level II (Manager), Level III (Senior Manager), and Office Assistants in Group B: Multi-Purpose Office Assistants.
IBPS RRB OFFICER SELECTION PROCESS
IBPS RRB Officer Examination is divided into four main stages:-
1. Preliminary Exam
2. Mains Exam
3. Personal Interview
4. Document Verification
For Officers Scale I - Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Main Examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, an adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times of the declared vacancies in each state shall be called for interview, subject to availability.
For Officers Scale II and III - Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Single examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Regional Rural Bank, popularly known as IBPS RRB is a national-level exam conducted by IBPS to recruit the candidates who are willing to fill vacancies for various posts in RRBs across India. IBPS RRB occurs at two levels of officers in Group A: Level I (Assistant Manager), Level II (Manager), Level III (Senior Manager), and Office Assistants in Group B: Multi-Purpose Office Assistants.
IBPS RRB OFFICER SELECTION PROCESS
IBPS RRB Officer Examination is divided into four main stages:-

For Officers Scale I - Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Main Examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. IBPS RRB Officer 2023: Who Can Apply
Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate applying for the IBPS RRB Officer exam must be either –
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit:
There is an upper and lower age limit set by the IBPS for candidates who wish to appear for the IBPS RRB Exam. The age limit varies according to the scale of the officers. The IBPS RRB age limit for general category candidates according to the posts are given below:
For Officer Scale – III (Senior Manager) – Above 21 years – Below 40 years.
For Officer Scale-II (Manager) – Above 21 years – Below 32 years.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates applying for the IBPS RRB exam must note that the IBPS has laid down several educational criteria depending on the post for which a candidate is applying. There are different sets of educational qualifications required for posts such as Officer Scale- I, II and III and Office Assistant, but candidates applying for any of the posts mentioned above must hold a degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institution.

IBPS RRB Officer 2023: Scheme of Exam
1. There will be 80 questions for IBPS RRB Officer Scale I, 200 questions for IBPS RRB Officer Scale II, 240 questions for IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II (Specialist Cadre) & 200 questions for IBPS RRB Officer Scale III.
2. The time duration is 45 minutes for IBPS RRB Officer Scale I & 120 minutes for IBPS RRB Officer Scale II & III.
3. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, with no deduction for unanswered questions.
4. The questions will be of an Objective type
