IBPS had Released Notification for the Recruitment of RRB Officers posts, as per the Notification, Online Registration time for Recruitment to 9995 Vacancies was from 07-06-2024 to 27-06-2024, Call Letter date for Preliminary Examination Training was from 22-07-2024 to 27-07-2024, and the Date of Preliminary Examination was 3rd, 4th, 10th, 17th & 18th August 2024, IBPS has also Declared the Result of Preliminary Examination on 13th September 2024, also IBPS has fixed the Date for Main Examination from 1st September to 30th September 2024.

EXAM PATTERN:

IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Main Examination shall be held as an Objective Type Online Computer Based Test. The Examination shall consist of total of 200 questions and total of 200 Marks. The total duration of the examination shall be 120 Minutes.

Marking Scheme:

1. For each Wrong answer given by the candidate, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score.
2. If a question is left blank, no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

MAINS INTERVIEW:

1. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination for the post of Officers Scale- I and in the single level examination for the post of Officers Scale- II and III under CRP- RRB- X will subsequently be called for an Interview.
2. The total marks allotted for the Interview are 100.
3. The minimum qualifying marks/scores in interviews for Officers Scale- I, II, and III will be as per extant guidelines.
4. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination for the post of Officers Scale- I and in the Single Level Examination for the post of Officers Scale- II and III under CRP for RRBs- X and Interview.

Note:- While appearing for the Interview, the candidate should produce valid prescribed documents.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Nationality:

A candidate applying for the IBPS RRB Officer exam must be either –
A Citizen of India or
Asubject of Nepal or
A subject of Bhutan or
A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit:

There is an Upper and Lower Age Limit Set by the IBPS for Candidates who wish to appear for the IBPS RRB Exam. The Age Limit Varies According to the scale of the officers-

For Officer Scale – III (Senior Manager) – Above 21 years – Below 40 years.
For Officer Scale-II (Manager) – Above 21 years – Below 32 years.
For Officer Scale – I (Assistant Manager) – Above 18 years – Below 30 years.
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Between 18 years and 28 years.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates Applying for the IBPS RRB Exam Must Note that, IBPS has laid down Several Educational Criteria Depending on the Post for which a Candidate is Applying. There are Different Sets of Educational Qualifications Required for Posts Such as Officer Scale- I, II and III and Office Assistant, but Candidates Applying for Any of the Posts Mentioned above must hold a Degree in any Discipline from a Recognized University or Institution.

SELECTION PROCESS:

IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Examination is divided into four main stages:-

For Officers Scale I -

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Main Examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, an adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times of the declared vacancies in each state shall be called for interview, subject to availability.=

For Officers Scale II and III -

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Single examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, an adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times of the declared vacancies shall be called for interview, subject to availability.

Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)	Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate. Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy	Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions

How Can Apply:

Step 2: Click on the ‘Click Here For New Registration’ link provided at the top of right side of the page.
Step 3: Fill in your basic information and click on Save and Next option.
Step 4: You are now required to upload your Photograph, Signature and IBPS RRB Hand-Written Declaration.
Step 5: Click on the next button after uploading your Photograph and Signature.
Step 6: You are now required to fill in your Basic Details.
Step 7: After the choices have been made, click on save and next.
Step 8: A preview of your application appears. In case you find any errors, you can edit the information. Once the data is uploaded and saved, you are not allowed to make any changes in the form, whatsoever. Therefore, kindly review all the details while filling in the application form.
Step 9: Finally, select the payment method to fill in the application fee. All payment is done online.
Step 10: Click on Submit button. Your application will be successfully submitted.

Candidates can pay the Application Fee through Either Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking, Fee Once Paid will not be Refunded in Any Case.

Step 4: Now, enter your password provided during your IBPS RRB Officer online application form submission or your date of birth (DOB) details.
Step 5: Now, click on the ‘Login’ button
Step 6: Your IBPS RRB Officer Exam Admit Card 2024 will be displayed on the screen for download and printout.
