In 2022, 766 vacancies (Group B and Group C posts) were released for recruitment on a deputation basis. IB ACIO notification of last year was released by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on 22 June 2022, However, the last recruitment cycle is still going on and its exam is yet to be held.

INTELLIGENCE BUREAU ASSISTANT CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE OFFICER EXAMINATION
The Ministry of Home Affairs( MHA) is an organization under the Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India. IB is the Intelligence Bureau. It is an Indian internal intelligence service that deals with internal tasks & intelligence. It monitors the risks of terrorization within the nation. It provides valuable information to other intelligence & police agencies. They keep an eye on suspicious behavior, so these organizations look after the internal and external terrorization threats against the country and its people.
IB ACIO EXAM PATTERN
Tier I is an objective-based paper. It consists a total of 100 questions of various sections such as General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, General Studies, Reasoning, and Numerical/Analytical/Logical ability carrying 100 marks in total. The time allotted for the exam is 1 hour ( 60 minutes).

The Examination for Tier- I of IB ACIO Examination will be held as a Computer Based Examination and will contain only Objective Type, Multiple choice based questions.
IB ACIO (TIER I) MEDIUM OF EXAMINATION
1. The Questions from General Studies, General Awareness & Quantitative Aptitude, General Studies, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Numerical/Analytical/Logical ability & Reasoning, will be available both in English & Hindi.
2. The Questions from the English Language will be available only in English.
IB ACIO (TIER I) MARKING SCHEME
Sections of the Test are:

Questions from the above-mentioned sections are asked in IB ACIO Examination where, each section comprise 20 Questions, summing up to 100 Marks.
Marking Scheme Highlights :-
1. For each correct answer, 1 Mark will be awarded.
2. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 Marks for each wrong answer.

Tier I is an objective-based paper. The application process is online. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can only fill out the application form. The application process involves several steps, such as registering, completing the application form, uploading the required documents, paying the fee, and final submission. Candidates only need to fill out the application form with correct details, otherwise, you are responsible for rejection.
STEPS TO FILL IB ACIO EXAM ONLINE APPLICATION FORM
Below are the steps that the students need to follow when completing the application form for IB ACIO:
1. Registration: To register for the exam, candidates had to enter certain details. After successful registration, candidates were provided the registration number and password.
2. Filling up the IB ACIO application form: Candidates need to fill their personal, academic, and contact details in the application form and note down system-generated application numbers. They also have to create a password that will be used for future logins. Below are the details that the candidates should fill in the application form.
Basic details: Here, candidates need to fill in the category, nationality, personal details, select exam centres, date of birth, gender, father's name or mother's name, address, etc.
Educational qualification, work experience & languages: Here, candidates need to enter details of their graduation such as year of passing, college, percentage of marks, grade (if any). 3. Upload of Prescribed Documents & Images (Photographs and Scanned Signatures): upload photographs, signatures.The size of the file had to be more than 50 KB Images that are not as per prescribed specification shall not be considered and may lead to rejection of the application.
4. Choose your Test City Pay the Examination Fee: While applying, candidates have to select any four cities of their choice. The efforts will be made to allow the city of examination to the candidates in order of choice opted by them in their online Application Form. However, due to administrative/logistic reasons, a different city can be allotted. The candidates can pay the application fees in online mode only. For online payment, candidates can pay through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/Paytm/UPI.Application fee for general and OBC candidates is INR 100.
5. Print the Confirmation page: The last step is to take printouts of the confirmation page, after successful payment of application fees.
IB ACIO EXAM ADMIT CARD
Eligible candidates can download the IB ACIO admit card with their credentials such as application number and date of birth. No candidate will receive an Admit card by email, fax, etc. It includes details such as the candidate's name, test date, test time, and test center. IB ACIO 2023: Who Can Apply
Nationality / Citizenship:
The interested candidates should be citizens of India. The aspirants require to submit proper document proof for supporting their claim. The candidates require to submit the following documents:

The IB ACIO aspirants must be of 18 years of age at least. The maximum age limit is 27 years.

Physical Standard
For the IB ACIO physical examination, the candidates must ensure that they fulfill the given criteria:
(i) You should have a standard body weight as per your height.
(ii) Your body should not carry any genetic disease like gynecomastia, joint knees, colour blindness or night blindness.
(iii) Your joint should be completely fine.
(iv) The candidates must be of sound mind and in good physical health to perform the given duties.

IB ACIO 2023: Scheme of Exam
1. The sections of Tier I exam include General Studies, General Awareness, Numerical / Analytical / Logical Ability & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language.
2. The time duration of the IB ACIO Tier I Exam is 1 Hour.
3. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, with no deduction for unanswered questions.
4. The questions will be of an Objective type
5. Except for English Language, other sections will be in English and Hindi.
6. Total 100 marks atllotted for IB ACIO Tier I exam.

IB ACIO 2023: Admission to Examination Centres
1. Candidates must not forget to take their admit card with ID proof and 2 recent colored photographs.
2. No use of electronic items, books, or watches allowed inside the examination hall.
3. Candidates should reach the examination center 1 hour prior to the commencement of the exam.
4. A rough sheet will be provided at the examination hall.
