Admission Process
As mentioned above, all the students have to complete an MBBS degree with at least 60% marks in aggregate. After completing the 1-year in-house medical training, applicants have to apply for entrance tests. Students who qualify for the entrance exam are ranked according to the marks obtained. This ranking decides which colleges they can apply to. A counseling session is held for these students to know their preferred list of 3 colleges. Before final admission, all the respective colleges hold a round of private interviews with the students. Some colleges also hold group discussion sessions with all the applicants, before deciding on the final admission list.
