Eligibility
Candidates who wish to pursue Bachelor of Mass Communication program need to have completed the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:
1. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or any other equivalent exam from a recognized board in any stream.
2. The age requirement is 17 years of minimum age and the maximum age limit is 25 years.
3. Candidates who appeared for 10+2 and waiting for results can apply given they complete their requirements.
4. In case of reserved category SC / ST / OBC / PH candidates relaxation of 5% marks or equivalent grade is given as per UGC guidelines.
5. Candidates should be medically fit and sound as certified by the competent authority.
6. Candidates should have good communication skills.

Admission Process
For each undergraduate, postgraduate or any other higher education course, an aspirant need to go through a selection or admission process. The Bachelor of Mass Communication (BMC) admission process can be completed in one of two popular methods, namely, entrance-based admission processes or merit-based admission process. Entrance-Based Admission BMC
1. Commonly opted by many educational institutions in India, entrance-based admissions to BMC course requires candidates to appear for an entrance test, which, for BMC, will be conducted by each college offering the course.
2. After attempting the entrance test, the college/university concerned will release the results and subsequently, publish the merit lists containing the names of all qualified candidates with their scores and ranks.
3. Each college will then request the candidates to participate in the respective selection process, as outlined by the concerned educational institution.
4. The selection processes may require candidates to sit through a Personal Interview and/or Group Discussion.
5. Based on their performance in the entrance test and the personal interview and/or group discussion, the candidates will be shortlisted for admissions the course.
Merit-Based Admissions for BMC
1. Here, candidates will be asked to apply to the course and submit the respective documents proving their eligibility to the course.
2. After the document verification process, candidates may be called for a Personal Interview and/or Group Discussion, as defined by the respective colleges.
