About Course 

Bachelor of Arts in Telugu or B.A Telugu is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree programme which teaches various aspects of the Telugu language vis a vis philosophy, literature and linguistics. Major topics such as literary criticism, literary history, fiction, poetry, drama etc are taught to the students who enrol themselves for the B.A Telugu programme. After the completion of the study, the students’ knowledge of the language is enhanced and they can proudly call themselves as the specialist of Telugu language.

In this course, students gain knowledge of Telugu which will enhance them to become specialists in the Telugu language. This course introduces basic communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking. BA Telugu course helps students to communicate at a basic level with Telugu speakers.

Eligibility  

The eligibility criteria for admission into B.A, Telugu states that the applicants must - 

​​​​​​​1. Have completed their 10+2 study from a recognised Board or equivalent

2. Have passed the qualifying exam from any stream

3. Have at least a minimum aggregate of 55% at the qualifying level examination

Entrance Exams Details 

Admissions into the B.A Telugu programme can be targetted via both the merit-based process and entrance test-based process. In the entrance-based admission process, the qualifying exam scores are considered to determine the eligibility and the final admissions depend on the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam. Sometimes, there is an additional personal interview round after the entrance exam and final admissions depend on the cumulative score obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam and personal interview round.
