Journalism Course Eligibility for Undergraduate Courses

1. You can apply for journalism courses after you have passed class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks from any stream (Science, Commerce or Arts).

1. IIMC Entrance Exam - IIMC used to conduct its entrance examination on its own since its inception. Now, IIMC entrance examination is conducted by NAtional Testing Agency (NTA). The examination is now computer based and is conducted online. The IIMC entrance exam is conducted for providing admission to post graduate diploma courses in many specializations such as Hindi Journalism, English Journalism, Radio and TV Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, etc. The admission is offered for all the 6 campuses of IIMC. However, all the regional campuses offer courses in either English Journalism or in their regional language.

MICAT - Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad conducts MICAT for granting admission to 36 PGDM and 180 PGDM-C seats at Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad.  All the students who meet the eligibility criteria can fill the application form for all the courses. The MICA Admission test is conducted twice a year. 

3. SET - Symbiosis University, Pune takes admission strictly through Symbiosis Entrance Test for granting admission to journalism and mass communication courses. Admission Process
