About Course 

Bachelor of Fashion and Apparel Design (BFAD) is a four-year undergraduate course that provides a professional degree to students. The course deals with innovative technical skills and technology that are required for designing fashion garments and merchandising. Bachelor of Fashion and Apparel Design is one of the most popular and demanding professional courses in India. The students who pursue this course understand the ability to analyze different visual forms and develop creative strategies in designing and processing garments. The course also teaches different aspects related to preferences in the environmental and temperamental differences. 4. There are a few colleges and universities that also give special reservation benefits for SC/ST/BC candidates as per the terms and conditions approved by the government of India.

There are two methods of taking admission into BFAD courses direct and entrance based. The candidates can check all the details related to direct and entrance based exam mentioned below.

BFAD Direct Admission Process

1. The students who wish to pursue course related to fashion designing can do B.Sc. in Fashion and Apparel Design by applying either online or offline to all the colleges that offers this course.

2. The students must visit the official website of the college/university regularly for filling the application form. They must keep a track of dates and events related to admission.

3. The students need to fill the application form of the respective college and submit all the documents as desired in the application form.

4. The students can go through the process of admission and counseling after they have filled the application form. The college/university releases the merit lists on the basis of the marks obtained. The students might have to appear for personal interview as asked in some of the colleges.

BFAD Entrance Exam Based Admission Process

The students can take admission in Bachelor of Fashion and Apparel Design through entrance examinations also along with the merit based admission process.

1. There are many entrance examinations that are conducted by different design institutes for granting admission at undergraduate level. 

2. If any student wishes to pursue Masters in the relevant stream, they need to cpmplete their graduation with a minimum of 50% marks.
