Entrance Exams Details

UCEED: Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) is a design entrance exam which is conducted by IIT Bombay every year in order to offer admission to Interior Design courses such as BDes. Candidates who successfully clear the entrance exam are then offered admission in different Indian Institutes of Technology located at Bombay, Guwahati, Delhi, Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur. Every year UCEED exam is conducted at a national level across 24 cities in India.
NATA: National Aptitude Test in Architecture, is conducted by National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture, which is a body of Council of Architecture, New Delhi in India. NATA exam is conducted every year. This exam is conducted at national level. Candidates who successfully clear the entrance exam are then offered admission to undergraduate courses in architecture in various Interior Design colleges across India.
SEED: Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) is an entrance exam conducted to offer admission to eligible candidates in the field of architecture and designing. This examination is conducted jointly by IITs and Indian Institute of Science across the country. Candidates who have completed class 12th from any recognized board in India are eligible for appearing in SEED exam. Along with that, candidates are also required to have an aggregate score of 50% in order to appear for the exam. Candidates who have completed Diploma(10+3years) are also eligible for the entrance examination.
NID DAT: National Institute of Design - Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) is a national-level design entrance exam conducted by the National Institute of Design (NID).The examination is conducted every year in order to offer admission to eligible candidates in the field of Interior Design courses. NID DAT entrance exam comprises of two paper i.e. Preliminary examination and then Mains examination. Candidates need to qualify both the papers in order to secure admission in Interior Design colleges.
CEED: Common Entrance Examination for Design is a joint entrance exam for post-graduate studies in Interior Design courses. CEED entrance exam is held annually jointly at all IITs and Indian Institute of Science across the country. CEED entrance examination is hosted by IIT Bombay on the behalf of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Candidates who have minimum aggregate marks in a graduation degree can appear for CEED exam for securing admission in Interior Design Courses.
AIEED: All India Entrance Examination for Design is an entrance exam conducted by ARCH Academy of Design for admissions to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in Interior Design colleges. AIEED exam is most conducted online. Candidates who successfully appear in the entrance exam and clear it are then offered admission in various reputed Interior Design colleges.
