Eligibility Criteria for Diploma Level

1. Candidates must have passed Class 10th from a recognized board with minimum 60% marks

2. Candidates must have passed the GATE test with a respectable mark

Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor’s Degree

1. Candidate must be a PCM student, or a class 12 student studying Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

2. A student must have earned at least 50% of marks in PCM in order to pass the 10+2 test with PCM as their major subject

3. If a student completed a diploma programme in industrial engineering after finishing high school, they may be admitted straight to the second year of a B.Tech. This depends on whether the university you are attending offers lateral entry because not all universities do

4. To get admission into IIT, the candidate must have cleared JEE Advanced

5. To get admission into NIT, IIIT, the candidate must have a valid score in JEE Main

Eligibility Criteria for Master’s Degree

To be eligible for a master’s degree, candidates must have earned a bachelor's degree or a degree of an equivalent level from a recognized university with at least a 50% grade point average

Eligibility Criteria for Doctoral Degree

1. Candidates must have earned 60% in any other related master's programme or 70% in their master's degree in industrial engineering

JEE Main

To choose qualified students for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes like BE/B.Tech provided at National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and some other schools designated as CFTIs, the National Testing Agency administers the JEE Main test.

JEE Advanced

The JEE Advanced test is administered by IIT Bombay to choose candidates for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT). To be eligible for the JEE Advanced exam, candidates must have passed the JEE Main and gotten a rank.

BITSAT

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test which is a national-level admission exam is conducted every year by BITS Pilani. To grant admission to B.E., B.Pharm, M.Sc, and other courses offered at BITS campuses, BITSAT is held annually. Every year, on average, 3 lakh applicants take the BITSAT.

KEAM

Kerala Engineering, Agricultural, and Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM) is an entrance exam held for admission to engineering programmes at several Kerala institutions. Candidates who pass the KEAM exam must subsequently show up for CEE's centralized admission procedure (CAP). 

VITEEE

For admission to engineering programmes at their institution, VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) conducts the VITEEE entrance test every year. They hold this test for the two campuses, Vellore and Chennai. The VITEEE entrance exam performance is the sole criterion for admission.
