About Course

Aerospace Engineering is one of the most prominent fields of applied physics and engineering design. This technical specialization involves the study of airborne vehicles including their design, functioning, manufacturing, and maintenance. Development and testing are also a major part of this field.

In this branch of engineering, students learn about the professional design, building, testing, and maintenance of civil aircraft, missiles, space shuttles, rockets, space stations, and other such units. Aerospace is a broad field and also comprises subjects that are taught in aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, and other fields of applied physics.

Why Choose Course And Required Skills

A career in aerospace engineering can lead to many global opportunities for you. There are many public sector organizations and private sector companies that hire aerospace engineers to design, test, and help manufacture missiles, aircraft, spacecraft, and satellites.

Eligibility

To be eligible for admission into the B.Tech aerospace engineering programme, the candidates have to -

1. Clear their respective 10+2 qualifying exam (or equivalent) from a recognized Board.

2. Secure at least 60% aggregate in their qualifying exam.

3. Study Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics compulsorily at the qualifying level.

Entrance Exams Details

In this, the candidates have to appear in any entrance exam like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, MHT CET, etc. after qualifying the minimum eligibility criteria mentioned above. Based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam, the institutes will prepare a merit list and conduct counseling rounds before finally allocating the seats. The entrance exam can be a national-level, state-level, and institute-level exams in which the candidates have to appear to qualify for the next round of the admission process.
