About Course
A Doctor of Medicine in Neurology (DM Neurology) course helps students learn how to diagnose diseases and disorders related to the nervous system of living beings. It is a doctorate-level course. Entrance Exams Details
Most colleges conduct their respective entrance exams for admission to Neurology Courses. Some of the top entrance exams for the Neurology course admission process include
1. AIIMS-PG: Passing this test makes candidates eligible to take admitted at AIIMS in any part of the country based on their ranking. The test is mainly computer-based and consists of 300 multiple-choice questions. The question pattern includes; matching the following, true and false, reason assertion, multiple completion, etc. The total time limit of the test is 3 hours.
2. NEET-PG: This national-level test includes the entire curriculum of a 5-year MBBS degree. The total time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes. The exam authorities give the privilege of a 15-minute demo test before the actual examination for the students to understand the exam pattern. It consists of 300 questions. Also, each correct answer carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking.
3. NIMHANS DM: It is the entrance exam for the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences. Students who wish to study there need to pass the test. This exam is conducted twice per year; in July and December. It is a computer-based test that consists of 100 questions. It is a multiple-choice question-based exam. The duration of the test is 90 minutes.
