About Course 

D. Ed is known as Diploma in education and is a diploma level special education program. Students who have passed class 12 level exam can apply for the course. Through this course, the aspirants can pursue their career as a special education teacher. Special education teachers are teachers who are trained to teach students who are differently-abled. The aim of the course is to train the aspirants as per the skills and expertise required to teach students depending on the disability. The course curriculum depends on the specialisation opted by the aspirants and consists of subjects such as hearing impairment, visual impairment, locomotor disability, deafblindness,  low vision, learning disability, autism spectrum disorder, multiple disabilities, etc.
