About Course 

Bachelor of Arts in Bengali or B.A in Bengali is a three-year undergraduate programme, which deals comprehensively with Bangla Literature and Language. B. A Bengali, in short, is the study of Bengali Literature, poetry, and grammar. Bengali or Bangla is a language, that is predominantly spoken in the eastern parts of the Indian Union like West Bengal, Assam, Tripura etc, and in the neighbouring country of Bangladesh.

Eligibility  

Students who have passed their 10+2 examination from a recognised Board are eligible for admission into the B.A Bengali programme. Some Institutes, however, require the B.A Bengali applicant to have studied Bengali at the qualifying exam level to be eligible for admission.

Entrance Exams Details 

Admission into the B. A Bengali programme is both a merit-based and entrance test-based process. Some institutes/colleges conduct an entrance exam followed by a personal interview round to determine the suitability of the candidates to join the B. A Bengali programme.
