Duration - The duration of the course is four years. The program is broken down into four academic years.

Eligibility - 10+2 in any stream with English as a subject. A minimum aggregate score of 50% is also required (minimum marks required may vary from one institute to another). D.Ed. holders may be admitted immediately into the second academic year of this program.

After finishing the aforementioned program, one may pursue higher education or take the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test). Passing the CTET will allow you to work as a teacher in Central Government schools (for example- Kendriya Vidyalayas). One can even apply for state-level TET and work as a teacher in state-run schools.

B.Sc B.Ed Teacher Training Course

Previously, students had to complete the B.Ed. program after completing the B.Sc. course. However, with the launch of the B.Sc. + B.Ed. the integrated program, things have become considerably simpler! This curriculum combines a B.Sc. and a B.Ed. degree. Choose an acceptable subject and study this integrated course based on personal preference!

Duration - The course lasts four years.

Eligibility - 10+2 Science stream (subjects required vary depending on the nature of the program) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. D.Ed. holders may be admitted immediately to the second academic year of the integrated program.

B.El.Ed Teacher Training Course

B.El.Ed stands for Bachelor of Elementary Education. It's a program for elementary school instructors. This program is meant to prepare students for the role of primary school teachers by providing them with the necessary training. This curriculum consists of both theoretical and practical studies.

Duration - The program lasts four years. The theoretical portion lasts three years. A year is set aside for the practicum course.

Eligibility - 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in selected topics in any stream (subjects may vary from one institute to another). The requirements for minimum aggregate marks may differ from one institute to the next.

After finishing the aforementioned courses, one may continue their education or take the CTET. Passing the CTET will enable you to work as a teacher in a Central Government school. One may even apply for a state-level TET and work as a teacher in a state-run school.

D.El.Ed Teacher Training Course
