Diploma courses which are also known as polytechnic courses are short-term courses that are of 1-3 year duration and can be pursued after completion of Classes 10 and 12 or even after graduation. Diploma courses emphasize training-based education. The admission to diploma courses is done either through entrance exams or direct admission. In order to be eligible for a diploma course at the graduation level candidates should complete their Class 10 with at least 35% marks in the qualifying exam and include compulsory subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Physical Science. Diploma in Engineering / Polytechnic course

12th pass students can directly join through the lateral entry in the second year if they have studied Science and Maths subjects in the 12th.

The minimum age to join this course is 14 years.

The minimum percentage for Class 10th should be above 35%.

Compulsory pass in Maths and Science subjects in the qualifying examination.

students should have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects or any other equivalent or higher academic course pursued from a recognized university

Direct Admission 

There are many good private colleges where candidates can get direct admission as per their 10th percentile.
