VITEEE Examination 2024: Overview
Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in VIT group of Institutions. VIT has introduced many innovations in academic processes that add value to every student. FFCS (Fully Flexible Credit System), PBL (Project Based Learning) for better learning, fully digitized academic portals that assist students in equipping themselves for market places, Hackathons / Makeathons as part of curriculum exercise which kindles the interest and the curiosity of students, which molds them to be better problem solvers.

VITEEE 2024: Who can apply
Nationality: The applicant for admission should be a Resident/Non-Resident Indian National/PIO Holder.
Age Limit: Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 2002, are eligible to apply for VITEEE. The date of birth as recorded in the High School Certificate will be considered authentic. Candidates should produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counseling, failing which, they will be disqualified.
Qualifying Examination: Candidates should have passed or should be appearing in the year 2024 in any of the following examinations:
1. 10+2 or Higher Secondary Exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE).
2. Two Year Pre-University exam or Intermediate conducted by a recognized Board/University.
3. International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva, or High School Certificate Exam of Cambridge University.
4. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
5. Candidates from NIOS will also be eligible for VITEEE.
VITEEE Qualifying Marks
1. Candidates appearing for the VITEEE should have secured minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics /Biology in the qualifying examination (Intermediate).
2. The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (Intermediate) put together should be 50% for the following categories (Candidates belonging to SC/ST Community & Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir / Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura)
VITEEE 2024: How can I apply
The application form has to be filled in online mode. Follow the below-mentioned steps to fill out the application form.
Step 1: VITEEE 2024 Registration - Go to the official website and click on the new registration link for B.Tech admissions. Candidates have to enter the required details such as name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email id, and nationality. The authority will send the login id and password to the registered email id of the candidates.

VITEEE 2024: Application Fees
The application fee of INR 1350 (inclusive of GST) - for general candidates has to be paid via Net-banking/Credit/Debit card/Paytm. NRI students will have to pay 90 USD online using a credit card.

VITEEE 2024: Admission to the Examination Centres
1. Candidates will have to report to the exam center at least an hour before the start of the exam.
2. VITEEE admit card and identity proof have to be produced at the exam centers. Without the admit card, the candidates will not be allowed to attempt the examination.
3. No electronic devices will be allowed inside the examination hall.
4. Masks have to be worn at all times inside the exam center.
5. Candidates will have to sanitize their surroundings and keep them hygienic.
6. Once the candidates enter the exam center, they will not be allowed to leave until the examination concludes.
7. After the exam commences, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the hall.
VITEEE 2024: Admit Card
Step 1: Visit the official website.
Step 2: Click on ‘VITEEE Admit Card’.
Step 3: Enter the Application Number and Password and click on the 'Login'.
Step 4: VITEEE admit card will be displayed on the screen once you login.
Step 5: Take a printout of the same and keep it safe.
VITEEE 2024: Result
Step 1: Go to the official website.
Step 2: Click on the result link.
Step 3: Candidates will have to provide their VITEEE application number and password.
Step 4: Next, the candidates will have to click the “Submit” button.
Step 5: VITEEE result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6:Candidates can download it and take a printout for future reference.
VITEEE 2024: Counselling
VIT University will commence the VITEEE counselling process. Qualified candidates will have to register and participate in the VITEEE counselling for admission into the participating institutes. VITEEE counselling will be held online and the process will consist of registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and confirmation of admission. VIT seat allotment will be done based on ranks, preference, and seat availability. If the candidates are not able to confirm their admission before the final date, then their candidature will be cancelled.
