About College	The Government Polytechnic Gariyaband is a diploma level Technical institute funded by the Government of Chhattisgarh. It is located at 94 km away from Raipur in Raipur-Devbhog road NH-130C. The Institute started with three Engineering disciplines Civil, Mechanical & Mining in 2009. These Institute was one of the newly born institute of Chhattisgarh for Mining disciplines and currently it is one of best institute for Diploma in Mining engineering. In 2009, for the development of technical education in distance tribal area, 23rd polytechnic was established in Gariyaband, Chhattisgarh. Initially this institute was running under the guidance of Government polytechnic Dhamtari in ITI campus in Gariyaband. The new campus of institute is in construction in Dongri village Gariyaband in 10 acres of land. The foundation level construction is completed.
