Prerequisite

• Admission to B.E. / B.Tech / B.Arch / B.Planning. Courses in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board will be based on All India Rank (JEE-MAINS) subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12thclass examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12thclass / qualifying examination.

• Admission to IIIT Bhagalpur will be done through JOSAA/CSAB counseling.

4. M.Tech. in Mechatronics - 16 Seats

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant Technology/Engineering or MSc (Computer Science/Information Technology/Equivalent Branch) or Equivalent degree from the Institutions recognized by Indian Approved Bodies.
• Admissions to the M.Tech. (CSE) Program is made through the Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan./M.Des. admissions (CCMT). Official notification of the admissions is given wide publicity through national dailies during March-April every year. CCMT is an on-line admission process for NITs and many IIITs including other national-level institutions. It is a merit-based admission considering valid GATE score and qualifying degree norms as declared by the CCMT.
