Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission into the 1st Semester of MCA program shall be followed as:

• A candidate who has passed 3 years (or Six Semesters) Bachelor’s Degree (B.A/B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A/B.B.A. or any other degree course) with at least 50% marks in aggregate or having equivalent grade from any recognized University/Institution with Mathematics as core/compulsory course at the graduation level.
• Lateral Entry: A candidate who has passed PG Diploma in Computer Application from any recognized University/Institution or NIELIT ‘A’ Level course under Govt. of India (with at least 50% aggregate marks) and minimum of one (1) year of institutional study after Bachelor’s Degree can be considered for admission into 3rd semester (Third Semester) of MCA program, subject to the availability of the seats.

Selection Procedure: Admissions of students to the various courses are subjected to qualifying of the candidates either in the Counseling or Entrance test or both as decided by the Admission Committee.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate seeking admission to the BCA Course must have passed 10+2 (any stream) securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate (5% relaxation to ST/SC candidates) from the Central Board of Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Mizoram University preferably with Mathematics as one of compulsory or optional course, or any other vocational course related to the computer stream having either Computer Science or Computer Engineering as compulsory/optional course.

Selection Procedure: Admissions of students to the various courses are subjected to qualifying of the candidates either in the Counseling or Entrance test or both as decided by the Admission Committee.
