The Department of Computer Science & Information Technology (CSIT) started in the year 1990, with one year P.G. Diploma course (PGDCA). This course gained a lot of popularity and success. It was followed by Master's degree courses in Computer Science - M.Sc.(CS) as well as in Information Technology- M.Sc.(IT) in 1996. Subsequently Master of Computer Application (MCA) course approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi was introduced in the year 1998. |
