Normalisation of Marks
The main aim of the normalisation is to justify the candidates who got a difficult paper compared to an easier paper. Hence, the task is to rationalize in the best possible sense and rank the candidates based on the global performance.

Where,
SASD: Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of the subject of a session in which the candidate appeared.
GASD: Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of all the candidates across all sessions of the subject put together.
STA: Average mark of the top 0.1% of the candidates in the subject of a session in which the candidate appeared.
GTA: Average mark of the top 0.1% of all the candidates across all the sessions of the subject put together.
Note:- For the candidates for whom there is no qualifying cut-off in TS EAPCET, if the marks in TS EAPCET after normalization goes below zero (negative), the mark is treated as zero. If the tie persists, then TS EAPCET normalization marks (though negative) are considered for resolving the tie.
Examination Qualifying Marks
The qualifying percentage of marks for the TS EAPCET is 25% of the maximum marks for consideration for ranking.
Note:- For candidates belonging to SC / ST, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed.

Selected candidates must pay the tuition fee online and complete self-reporting through the portal.
Reporting to Allotted College
Finally, candidates must report to the allotted institute within the given time period to confirm admission.
Cutoffs
For the General category, the TG EAMCET 2025 qualifying cutoff is set at 25% of the total marks. While determining the cutoff, the authorities take into account several factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, seat availability, and other relevant aspects. The TS EAMCET 2025 engineering examination was conducted from May 2 to 4, 2025, whereas the agriculture and pharmacy exams were held from April 29 to 30, 2025.
The qualifying cutoff for General category candidates in TG EAMCET 2025 is 25% of the total marks (40 out of 160).
There is no minimum qualifying cutoff prescribed for SC, ST, and PH categories to be included in the ranking.
The final admission cutoffs (closing ranks) are released college-wise and course-wise during the counselling process.
