CUET (ICAR-UG) Examination 2024: Latest Update
The admission to the ICAR All India Quota seats in UG programs will be through CUET (UG)-2024 for which registration is open from 27/02/2024 to 26/03/2024 (11:50 PM) at the NTA portal (https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/). CUET (ICAR) UG 2024 Exam will be conducted between 15 May 2024 and 31 May 2024.

As per CUET Syllabus, there will be three sections in UG Paper. Important points regarding the exam are tabulated below:

The admission to the ICAR All India Quota seats in UG programs will be through CUET (UG)-2024 for which registration is open from 27/02/2024 to 26/03/2024 (11:50 PM) at the NTA portal (https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/). CUET (ICAR) UG 2024 Exam will be conducted between 15 May 2024 and 31 May 2024.
CUET (ICAR-UG) Examination 2024
The candidate’s eligibility for CUET (ICAR-UG) Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:-
1. Nationality
2. Age Limit
3. Educational Qualifications
NATIONALITY
The nationality of the applying candidate should be Indian only.
AGE LIMIT
Indian Nationals of at least 16 years of age as on 31.08.2024 are eligible to apply for the examination. No relaxation is admissible regarding the minimum age limit.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
1. Indian national candidates must have passed 10+2 Senior Secondary Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination within scope and standard found to be equivalent to the Senior Secondary Examination of a recognised Indian Board/University, with minimum prescribed marks/grade after a period of 12 years of study. The medium of instruction in the admitting University will be English.
2. Candidate must have passed any one of the qualifying examinations enumerated above securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate for General, OBC (NCL), UPS, EWS categories and 40% marks in aggregate for SC, ST, Third Gender, PwD categories. There will be no rounding-off of the OGPA/percentage of marks of qualifying examination while deciding the basic eligibility of any candidate for admission e.g. if a candidate obtained 49.99% marks in his/her qualifying examination, then it will not be rounded-off to 50%.
3. Candidate having a compartment/supplementary in any of the subjects will not be eligible unless proof of having cleared the examination with requisite percentage asabove is available.
4. Candidate already appeared in the qualifying examination enumerated above, can also apply but would be required to submit evidence of having satisfied the conditions latest at the time of counselling/admission in the allotted university.
5. Candidate must ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility requirements for the examination as well as admission as detailed in the Information Bulletin. Applying for AIEEA (UG) 2022, appearing in the examination and qualifying the same does not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility. The applicant for a particular Subject must satisfy the eligibility criteria as specified in this Information Bulletin (or its amendments/corrections from time to time).

CUET (ICAR UG) EXAM: APPLICATION PROCESS
Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:
Step 1: Registration Form - Register for the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application Number. The candidate should supply the required details while filling the Online Application Form and is also required to create a PASSWORD and choose Security Question and enter his/her Answer. After successful submission of the personal details, an Application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and will also be required for all future reference/correspondence. For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to login directly with the respective system generated Application Number and created Password.
Step 2: Application Form - The Candidates can log in with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application Form including filling up personal details, providing the details of educational qualification, university/ programme selection, test paper details, choosing the Examination Cities, and uploading the images and documents (if any).
Upload Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Signature, and Category Certificate (if applicable), and PwBD Certificate (wherever applicable):
i. The recent photograph should be either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
ii. Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
iii. The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
iv. The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible).
v. The size of the scanned copy of the Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) should be between 50kb to 300kb in pdf (clearly legible).

CUET (ICAR-UG) 2024: Who can apply
NATIONALITY
The candidate must be a citizen of India in order to be eligible for CUET examination.
Qualification
1. Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (12th standard) with at least three subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture/Inter-Agriculture as core courses.
2. Candidate(s) who appears in subject(s) different than the one which s(he) passed in 12th standard will not be considered for counselling / admission and will stand rejected.
3. The candidates must attempt only those subjects (at least 3 subjects) in the examination as per the choice given in the Application Form. Therefore, they must exercise the choice of subjects very carefully. Attempting subjects different than choices given in the application form will invite disqualification from counselling / admission process.
4. Many admitting universities have special conditions (like upper age limit, mandatory subject eligibility for a specific program, gender specific preference, etc.) for admission as per respective university statute. It will be the responsibility of the candidate(s) to inquire about such special conditions from University of his/her interest before filling up the online application form for CUET (ICAR-UG) 2024.

Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:
Step 1 Registration Form: Register for the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application Number. The candidate should supply the required details while filling out the Online Application Form and is also required to create a PASSWORD and choose Security Question and enter his/her Answer. After successful submission of the personal details, an Application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and will also be required for all future reference/correspondence.
Step 2 Application Form: The Candidates can log in with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application Form including filling up personal details, providing the details of educational qualification, university/program selection, test paper details, choosing the ExaminationCities, and uploading the images and documents (if any)
Upload Scanned Images of the Candidate’s Photograph, Signature, Category Certificate (if applicable), and PwBD Certificate (wherever applicable):
i. The recent photograph should be either in color or black and white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
ii. Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
iii. The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
iv. The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible).

CUET (ICAR-UG) 2024: Admission to the Examination Centres
1. The candidates shall report at the Examination Centre at the time indicated on their respective Admit Cards.
2. Registration desk will close 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination. Candidates shall not be permitted to enter the Examination Centre after the gate closing time indicated on the Admit Card.
3. The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.
4. A seat indicating Roll No. will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates should take their seats immediately after the opening of the examination hall. If the candidates do not report in time due to any reason i.e. traffic jam, train/bus delay, etc., they are likely to miss some of the general instructions to be announced in the Examination Rooms/Halls. The NTA shall not be responsible for any delay.
5. The candidate must show, on demand, the Admit Card downloaded/printed from the NTA website for admission in the examination room/hall. The Test Centre Staff on duty is authorized to verify the identity of candidates and may take steps to verify and confirm the identifying credentials.
