The AP EAPCET (formerly EAMCET) 2026 syllabus includes Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for MPC stream) or Biology (for BiPC stream), covering topics from 11th and 12th grade such as Algebra, Calculus, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. The syllabus is designed with subject-wise weightage to help students build strong concepts for Engineering, Agriculture, or Pharmacy admissions in Andhra Pradesh.

EXAM PATTERN
AP EAPCET Examination will be held as an Objective Type Online Computer Based Test. Question paper will contain a total of 160 Questions and 160 Marks, being 1 mark for each question. The total duration of the examination will be 180 Minutes.

Questions from the above-mentioned sections will be asked in AP EAPCET Examination, where Physics comprise 40 Questions of 1 Mark each, Chemistry comprise 40 Questions of 1 Mark each and Mathematics/ Biology comprise 80 Questions of 1 mark each summing up to 160 Questions and 160 Marks.

The main aim of the normalisation is to justify the candidates who got a difficult paper compared to an easier paper. Hence, the task is to rationalize in a best possible sense and rank the candidates based on the global performance.

Eligibility
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates willing to apply for AP EAPCET Examination are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities. The criteria for eligibility AP EAMCET are decided by the conduction body itself.
The candidate’s eligibility for AP EAPCET Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:-
1- Nationality
2- AP EAPCET: Age Limit & Relaxations
3- AP EAPCET: Educational Qualifications
Nationality
1- Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders.
2- Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. The candidates should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
Age Limit & Relaxations
1- For Engineering, Pharmacy courses - Candidates should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
2- For B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FT) and B.Sc. (CA & BM) - Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.
3- For Pharm-D course - The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
4- For B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.Sc. (Ag) / B.Sc. (Hort) / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FS&T)courses - Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC/ST candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission.
5- For B. Pharm Course - Candidates should have completed 17 years of age by the date of commencement of admission or on such other date as may be notified by the CET committee. There is no upper age limit.
6- For Pharm-D Course - The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
Educational Qualification
For Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), Pharma.D, B.Tech. (Dairy), B.Tech. (Agrl. Engineering), B.Tech. [Food Science and Technology (FS & T)], B.Sc. [Agriculture Engg] course -
1- Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from academic year 2000 onwards, or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
2- Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
For Pharm-D course
1- Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as optionals conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma Examination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana State Board of Technical Education and training.
2- Candidate should obtain atleast 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belongs to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
For B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.Sc. (Ag) / B.Sc. (Hort) / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech.(FS&T) courses
Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognized as equivalent there to by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, with any two / three of the subjects indicated against each course noted below:

For B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) Course
Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals, along with the bridge course examination in mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana shall be eligible.
For Pharm-D Course
1- Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the diploma examination in pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
2- Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belongs to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination

For AP EAMCET 2026, seats will be available in the same streams (Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy) with a total of around 2.64 lakh seats. The exact seat details for each college will be provided later in the counselling process (registration, choice filling, and seat allotment) by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
HOW TO APPLY
The AP EAPCET 2026 registration process is expected to commence tentatively in the third week of March 2026. The application form will be available only in online mode. Candidates can refer to the step-by-step procedure given below to complete and submit the form accurately.
1- Payment of fees and registration: Firstly, the candidates have to pay the required fee. After entering details such as qualifying exam hall ticket number, name, date of birth, mobile number, email id, and stream, the candidates have to make the payment online (net banking/debit card/credit card) or offline mode. Payment ID will be generated after which the candidates will be able to move forward to fill the application form.

2- Filling of AP EAPCET application form: Next, the candidates have to fill the application form with their personal, contact, academic, and CET examination details.
i- Contact Details - Candidate's name, date of birth, gender, Aadhaar card number/enrollment number, birth district, birth state, ration card number, the annual income of parents, caste category, minority/mon-minority, and bank details.
ii- Address Details - House no., village/street /locality, Mandal/town/city, district, state, pin code, mobile number, alternate mobile Number and telephone number, and email Id.
iii- Academic Details - Qualifying exam, the medium of instruction at the qualifying exam, SSC or equivalent (10th Class), intermediate or equivalent (10+2), and place of study.
3- Uploading scanned images of photograph and signature: Once all the details are entered successfully, candidates are required to upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature in the format specified by the authorities.

ADMIT CARD
Candidates can download the AP EAMCET 2026 admit card by visiting the official website, and entering their Registration Number or Payment Reference ID, Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket Number, and Date of Birth. The AP EAPCET 2026 hall ticket is a crucial document and must be carried for identity verification at the examination centre as well as for use during the counselling process.
Candidates should follow the steps given below to download the Admit Card of AP EAPCET:
1- Visit the Official AP EAPCET Website.
2- Click on the link to ‘Download Engineering & Pharmacy Hall Tickets’.
3- AP EAPCET login window will appear on the screen.
4- Candidates have to enter their registration number, qualifying examination hall ticket number and date of birth.
5- The AP EAPCET hall ticket will appear on the screen; download it.
6- Take a print of it and save it for future reference.
EXAM RESULT
The AP EAPCET 2026 results will be declared by the conducting authority, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUH), Kakinada, on the official website. Candidates can check their results and download the rank card by entering their AP EAMCET 2026 registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth.
Candidates should follow the steps given below to download the result of AP EAPCET:

2- Click on the AP EAPCET result link.
3- Login using the registration and hall ticket number.
4- AP EAPCET result will be displayed on the screen.
5- Download the AP EAPCET result and take a printout of the same.
COUNSELLING PROCESS & CUTOFFS
The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) conducts the AP EAPCET 2026 counselling process and manages the seat allotment for candidates who qualify the examination. In addition to qualifying for AP EAPCET / AP EAMCET 2026, candidates must also meet the eligibility conditions prescribed in the relevant Government Orders for admission to the professional courses offered through the exam.
For the AP EAPCET 2026 counselling and document verification process, candidates are required to submit their duly filled AP EAMCET 2026 online application form, along with the hall ticket and rank card.
Cutoff
The AP EAMCET 2025 cutoff will be announced by the authority following each counselling session. It is the bare minimum of grades or scores that applicants need to obtain in order to be admitted. Numerous factors, including the exam's difficulty level, the number of available seats, and the number of applicants, will determine the AP EAMCET 2025 cutoff ranks. The AP EAMCET 2025 rank vs. marks will also be impacted by this.
