Eligibility Criteria

NTA will conduct the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) in CBT mode for admission to the B.Sc. Course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (B.Sc. HHA) across the Country.

NCHM JEE will be an on-line exam only and Exam will be held in 33 or more cities all over India. There would be a total 200 Questions and 3 Hrs.

Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE on a provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand canceled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or it's equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counseling or at the time of admission.

The offer of admission is subject to verification of original certificates/documents at the time of admission.

Required Qualification: A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.

The 3 year BSc program in Hospitality & Hotel Administration with Specialisation (majors) is offered at select Institutes affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management.

Specialization scheme:

There are three fields of specialization offered in Semester IV, V and VI namely:

1.   Food Production Management.

2.   Food & Beverage Management.

3.   Accommodation Management.

Students of specialization are to undergo fourteen weeks of Practicum or Industrial Training after each semester.

Admission to the program is the same as that for 3-year BSc. i.e. through All India Joint Entrance Examination-JEE. A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.

The National Council for Hotel Management offers the short 1½ year craft certificate program in the specialized trade of Food Production and equip students with basic skills required in the kitchens. Successful students after training are guarantees jobs in the hospitality industry immediately on completion mainly at entry level as cooks, commis, kitchen assistants, etc.
