About College	In the year 1968 it was felt by Dr. T. Barnabas to start/ initiate Management Development Programme in Ahmednagar College, as industrial growth in Ahmednagar had just begun and also the University of Pune had Instituted Diploma in Business Management- D.B.M. and Masters in Management Science -M.M.S. courses at the university level. The Ahmednagar College was the first college outside Pune and within the five districts under the University of Pune to recognize/realize the need for management development in a rural areas.
