About College	Baruipur Govt. Polytechnic was started its journey in the year 2013, All the classes of 2013-14 academic session, were conducted in the premises of A.P.C Roy Polytechnic, Jadavpur, The Institution building was inaugurated on 9th February 2014 by Sri Biman Bandopadhyay, Honorable Speaker of West Bengal Legislative Assembly and Sri Ujjal Biswas, Honorable Minister of Technical Education and Training, Govt. of West Bengal. The College fully functional in its own premises at Subhashgram, south 24 pgs. since July 2014.
