Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kudwa Village, Gondia 441 614 (MS)

The Manoharbhai Patel Institute was established in the year 1983. It is considered one of the premier engineering institutes of this region. It has subsequently been granted an "A" Grade by the Government of Maharashtra and NBA accredited. The Institute is affiliated to Nagpur University and is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Council of Architecture, New Delhi, The Department of Architecture was established in the year 1987 as a logical extension of the policy of the Gondia Education Society viz. to provide facility of good technical education to the students of the backward regions of Vidarbha. The objective was to train and produce academically and practically well-equipped architects who would be capable of participating in the building activity of the region. The course, like all other architecture courses, is of five years duration and is affiliated to the Nagpur University. It is also recognized by the AICTE and Council of Architecture, the apex statutory body regulating the architectural profession and education in the country.
