About College	The proposal for setting up a New Polytechnic at Jangipur was proposed in the year 2009-2010 financial year and the land comprising of area 5.0 acres was being acquired and transferred to the department in the year 2011. The civil construction started in the year 2014 and got its AICTE approval in the year 2015. The Institute started its journey with two Diploma Engineering courses- Civil Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering with an intake capacity of 60 students each.
