Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have passed 10+2 Examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology.

Admission Procedure: 100% admission to the B.Tech Programme would be made on the basis of JEE Mains conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Admission to 85% of the total seats (50% Uttarakhand and 35% All India) would be made through State level counselling to be conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. Counselling is done on the merit-based on ranks obtained by the candidate in JEE Mains. Reservation policy would be applicable as per the State Govt norms. 15% Management admission is done directly by the Institute based on the merit of JEE Mains. For management category admission, candidates need to register in the Institute.

Admission to B.tech 2nd Year Lateral Entry: 

• Admission to B.Tech, 2nd Year is based on the inter-se merit of Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University.
• A candidate must have passed the three years Diploma in Engineering of State Board of Technical Education from an AICTE approved institution in the appropriate branch of engineering/technology in aggregate of all semesters.

Eligibility Criteria

Prerequisite: Passed in class 10th or equivalent and qualification in Uttarakhand state level Polytechnic Entrance Exam JEEP.

Admission Procedure for Lateral Entry Programs:  The admission in Diploma (Lateral Entry) Programme would be made on the basis of JEEP Counseling conducted by UBTER.
