The School of Computer Science & Information Technology (SCSIT), earlier it was the Institute of Computer Science and Electronics (ICSE) was established in 1986 with funding from UGC for MCA program. The School since then has endeavored into promoting technical education and research in the important and fast-growing branches of Information Technology. It is an autonomous department under Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya with its goal set to produce computer science specialists to meet the global challenges. The department faculty members have produced textbooks of global standards for the country and international universities clearly reflecting our vision. |
