We have a computer lab with internet facility for students as well as teachers, Our departmental library is one of the well-equipped libraries having more than 1200 books and 14 leading national level journals. PPP equipped classroom is also available in the department.VSSD is going to be a heritage college, The Department of Law has a wide list of reputed alumni who have earned immense respect in various fields and are serving the society in some or the other manner. The majority of our alumni join the judicial system as legal professionals. They also join the judiciary through H.J.S. and P.C.S (J) and are working as professionals in Banks, companies, etc. After pursuing higher education many students opt for law teaching as a career.

About College	Department of Law established in 1928 with the objective of imparting legal education to the students of Kanpur region and various other parts of the U.P. and other neighboring states. The students of law faculty are encouraged and motivated to their professional career by organizing seminars, Moot Courts and workshops on various legal aspects. Department also has functional legal aid cells as per norms.
