Jorhat Engineering college, the premier institution of North East India and the second Government Engineering College of Assam has completed its fifty years of relentless service to the society. Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jorhat with the then Principal of the Institute, Sri H.N. Barua also as the Principal in-charge of Jorhat Engineering College.
