General Instructions:

1. The positions are temporary and for specific duration.

2. The number of positions indicated above is provisional.

3. Only short listed/screened-in candidates will be called for Interview.

4. The Educational Qualifications which are required for the above posts should be possessed/ valid/ issued as on the last date of receipt of online applications.

5. Outstation candidates called for Interview will be paid to and fro Second Class Railway Fare by the shortest route from the address given in the Online application to the Place of interview or normal bus fare, whichever is less, on production of proof of journey such as Railway Tickets Number(s)/PNR Number(s) or Bus ticket(s) etc. Sleeper class charge will be paid only on production of Railway Ticket copies. If the candidates travel in a higher class of accommodation than the one prescribed, only Second Class rail fare excluding the reservation charges/sleeper charges will be paid. (The candidates who are allowed for Interview after successful document verification will alone be paid eligible Travelling Allowance.)

6. Candidates called for Interview will have to produce all relevant original documents, including No Objection Certificate (if employed already under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies) in proof of details furnished in their applications submitted on-line, along with a set of self-attested photocopies at the time of Interview. If any information furnished online is found to be wrong/false/suppressed the facts at any stage of the recruitment process, the candidate will not be allowed for Interview, and if selected/ appointed, such appointment shall be liable to be terminated as null and void.

7. The selected JRFs are encouraged to register for PhD from recognized Universities and take up relevant research topic benefitting the individual and NRSC. However, they may have to devote extra time to complete the PhD research.

8. Candidates possessing Degrees awarded by foreign universities should produce the equivalency certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) New Delhi, at the time of interview/while applying.

9. NRSC/ISRO reserves the right not to fill up all or any of the positions, if it so decides.

10. Only Indian Nationals need to apply.

11. No interim correspondence will be entertained.

12. Those intending to apply for more than one Post should submit separate application for each post through online.

13. Incomplete applications like those without photograph, signature, mark-sheets, Caste/Category Certificate, Proof of Date of Birth, etc., will be rejected outright.

14. Selected candidates will be required to join the post immediately on being found fit by the prescribed Medical Authority.

15. Approval of the competent authority will have to be obtained before publishing anywork/carried out at NRSC.

16. It is for the candidate to ensure that he / she fulfils the eligibility criteria and complies with the requirements and adheres to the instructions contained in this advertisement as well as in the application form. Candidates are, therefore, urged to carefully read the advertisement and complete the application form and submit the same as per instructions given in this regard.

17. If any information furnished in the online application is found wrong/false/incomplete, the candidate will not be called for interview.

18. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

19. Candidates should avoid submission of multiple applications for the same position.Incase of such multiple applications, the latest application submitted before the closing date of submission of application shall alone be considered for further processing.

20. In case of any ambiguity/ dispute arises on account of interpretation of Hindi version, contents enumerated in English version only shall finally prevail.

21. It may be noted that corrigendum, if any, related to any modifications to the Essential Qualification Requirements, No. of positions, etc., will be notified only in NRSC website

22. No interim correspondence will be entertained.

23. Candidates in their own interest are advised to apply well in advance of the due date. NRSC will not be responsible for failure to submit application due to whatsoever reason within the last date.
