The School of Studies in Law was established in the year 1982 to give leadership in the field of higher learning and research in Law as an independent faculty. The department of Law in Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University is the first school in the Chhattisgarh region for postgraduate studies and research in Law. The University headquarters are located in the western part of Raipur city. It is well connected by air, rail, and road between Howrah and Mumbai, and lies on NH-6. The campus is located about 10 kilometers from the airport and about 4 kilometers from the railway station.
